VK-3M is current issue Soviet/Russian ventilation suit. Suit can be used with various VKK suits, as well with regular flight suits.

Suit is made out of very light, but strong material and is comfortable to wear. Suit plugs in to the plane's air system and through various small tubes located inside of it tries to keep constant temperature. Per manufacturer, Vympel, suit was designed to keep pilot comfortable in a range of temperatures of -50 C to + 50 C (max of 1-1.5 hours at extremes).

Note two zippers - the bigger used during getting into the suit, second one is self explanatory:) Note small opening near the edge of the suit (you can see inside tubes through it in this shot) - this is the opening for the VKK suit's tubes, which would be worn underneath VK-3M. Under the opening is a connector, but I couldn't figure out what it is for...

Right shoulder area detail. On top of the right shoulder located another zipper used when pilot dresses up in VK-3M. Overall, VK-3M is similar to VKK-4 and VKK-6 in the way pilot gets into it. Ventilation tubes can be seen though the neck opening.
